Tours restricted to 12 places. Early bookings recommended.
John Dee was an English mathematician, astronomer, astrologer, teacher, occultist, and alchemist. He was the court astronomer for, and advisor to, Elizabeth I, and spent much of his time on alchemy, divination and Hermetic philosophy. He had one of the largest libraries in England at the time. Since his death, John Dee influenced many occultists and his work is the subject of study for some modern Universities. He even inspired an opera based on his life in 2011 and he is currently being featured in the sky drama "a Discovery of Witches".
We will visit the location of his house and library where he worked along with the famous psychic Edward Kelly. We will walk a section of the ley lines of that area and understand why these specific ley lines and the Major Arcana Tarot cards which represent them, formed a formidable area for his psychic and spiritual work and which still exists today for our benefit.

The Covent Garden Tour will take place at 2.00pm the same day and if you want you can book this as well. The John Dee tour will finish at 12.00pm and so you will have 2 hours to get to Covent Garden and perhaps grab a takeaway lunch. Please book this using the link below.
The easiest way is to travel on the over ground train service to Mortlake station with South West trains. Journey times of 10-17 minutes from central London. This line connects to main stations such as Clapham Junction, Vauxhall and London Waterloo. It is especially useful to those who live outside London travelling from the south or west of England.
You can drive to this event. Mortlake is served by the A316 road and M3 motorway. There is some street and paid parking near the tour site.
You can use the London underground but it is a bit awkward as there is no tube station at Mortlake. Here you might travel on the district line to Richmond, take a bus to East Sheen and then walk to the meeting point.
Please do not book this Tour is you have any mobility issues as you will be required to walk for about 1 mile in total.
Also if you are expecting a concentrated and purely historical tour then please do not book this tour. It is mainly a new age focused tour with some history involved.
